Clear full moon : Artist’s inspiration behind

Clear full moon is a black and white spray paint art using symbolism to help provoke deeper thoughts.

The clear full moon is symbolic of the human soul. The darkness around it is a result of the temporary forgetfulness of humans about their soul nature. However, the pure white which is also symbolic of the higher creative forces, encompasses the darkness and has the potential to extinguish it.

The bottom of this work is dark which is symbolic of the suffering that is caused due to the oblivion of the true soul identity of every human. You are a soul with a body and not the other way round.

This suffering forces the self to try and find the true nature of the self. The path is hard but ultimately rewarding as it pierces the veil of darkness and reaches the depths of the soul. This is seen by the landscape which arises from the darkness below and apparently pierces the white pure moon’s centre.

Sometimes, a clear full moon bring the peace and tranquillity needed to deeply self reflect. Without such inner silent reflection  it is impossible to find what silence is all about. Hence, I decided to combine my skills as a spray paint artist to tell you of something that most will ignore but the few who will listen are all that is needed to make me feel my art had a positive impact.
