Next eclipse : Artist’s inspiration behind

Next eclipse is a black and white spray paint art with a touch of blue illuminating the sky.

Set in an alien world, a gigantic spiralling stairway like landscape holds alien cities in its spirals. The eclipse is in its maximum and envelopes the star completely leaving a glowing white aura in its background. To complete the scene, a blue planet with a beautiful ring lights up the dark night skies during this eclipse.

In many cultures eclipses are often synonymous with folklore when man did not understand the science behind them. However, behind all the darkness, eclipses are a beautiful time to observe the grandeur of stars and cosmic objects like planets and moons.

Next eclipse was a spray paint artwork designed to take the viewer to an eclipse as it would look in an alien exoplanet. We are used to such phenomena on earth. However, to imagine such in a distant world, brings us to perspective about the vastness of the universe and how often our minds are constrained only to this world when the whole universe is waiting to be explored.

Do we take 1 minute to think about other planets? How would standing in one of them and observing the sky look like? How will auroras be or the next eclipse be like?

That is why, I created this art, to provoke your mind to think about such topics. I sincerely hope that you will pause after looking at my work, take a minute to close your eyes and reflect on the fact that right now, somwhere in the universe, there is an eclipse going on about which we do not know about. Somewhere life is observing the phenomena and somewhere else people on earth are wondering when will there be a next eclipse? .
